You can park in front of the shop on the street or on street heading into 3 Roads Brewery. You can also park in the lots behind the shop as well!

The Store
The Scrappy Elephant retail store is filled with reclaimed and reusable materials donated from businesses and individuals in and around the Charlottesville area. Whether you're a teacher, an artist, a crafter, a student, or a parent, you'll find supplies you need and supplies you never knew you needed.

Yarn, fabric, and sewing notions
Paper of all colors and sizes
Specialty items donated by local businesses and manufacturers
Colored pencils, markers, and pens
Scrapbooking supplies (stamps, paper, tools, etc.)
Greeting cards and gift wrap for every occasion
Wood, metal, and plastic in a variety of shapes and sizes
Our inventory changes constantly so you never know what you’re going to find! The hunt is part of the fun.
You’ll not only find unique items at affordable prices, but you can rest assured that by purchasing reuse materials rather than new (virgin) materials, you are doing Mother Earth a favor.
We also stock the store with a small selection of new drawing and painting materials from sustainable brands we love!
The Studio

This room is filled with materials and examples to inspire creative freedom and fun.
We are a place where kids of all ages (adults, bring your friends and come craft!) can build, create and learn to become better stewards for our environment. The best part- we clean up the mess!
