An embroidery stitch sampler is a piece of artwork that demonstrates specific stitches and skills learned. Come learn or practice some embroidery stitches as we create fish stitch samplers! We will cover a few stitches including the backstitch, chain stitch, weaving stitch, and fern. You’ll leave with a handout covering these stitches and instructions to the example sampler we’ll work on in class. Your finished piece can be hung or sewn onto an item for embellishment. Stitching supplies (hoop, needle, and fabric) will be provided.
