Come carve your own stamps!

Joan and Dylan of Critter Butts will guide you through safe tool use, tool and material options, design, carving, and printing basics. You'll go home with your own newly carved stamp(s) and whatever prints you make during class. Class instruction is from 2-4, with an hour after to socialize and keep working on your new stamps (or just playing with printing).

Block printing is a technique that's been used for many centuries to effectively print a design hundreds, or even thousands of times. It's a relatively easy craft to get into, as it doesn't require the purchase of expensive specialized tools. And stamps carved can be as simple or as complex as you like. Block prints are used for logos, art prints, greeting cards, and a wide variety of textiles around the world.
