Sharpen your sewing skills as you make a variety of projects in this sewing series with Becky. Good for both beginners and those with some sewing experience, we’ll cover all the components of using a sewing machine as well as basic techniques. Students will bring a working machine (including power cord and pedal) but if they don’t have one, we can provide one. A sewing kit (pins, measuring tape, marking tools, fabric scissors, ruler) is suggested, but not required. We’ll use items from Scrappy Elephant for our projects, including zipper pouches, tote bags, maybe even dip into some garment pattern sewing as we work at our own pace.
